POPA Museum / the first museum Neculai Popa's passion as collector manifested from childhood. Always fond of old things and aware of the rapid development in the late 20th century, he began collecting objects from the rural environment and not only, with the intention of opening a museum in which to preserve the spirit of an epoch that started to fade away. The first museum was open between 1964 and 1974 in an old building that he repaired and refurnished to shelter his objects collection.
